GROW YOUR OWN - FINALLY!

I am so over the moon that finally the grow your own movement has gained such momentum. Having banged on about it for years, without being part of the sandals and lentil brigade( although I love lentils and do wear sandals (nice ones)!), potagers cna be swish, "desing" icons and look very elegant.

I am loving this time explaining to clients the benefits of it all especially all the kids' work we do in the social enterprise programme I have set up. It is so rewarding and I have learnt so much about how kids think and function these days. It's given us lots of ideas, shown us that there are other ways of doing things and the kids that we work with in very disadvantaged areas are thriving on the responsibility of designing, building and growing a beautiful edible garden.

Apart from that lots to do for the Hampshire Fare calendar, food, growing food and producing it. We are going to be doing lots of workshops for kids and adults over the festival on how to grown your own, etc...and attending lots of yummy food fares to sell our brand new products! Very exciting time and luckily I now have 3 other people to help me, as having been rather poorly it's been a struggle to keep up with everything. Still fighting on so the team has taken over and I am left to get better.

Off to the garden now and look at my greenhouse!
