Yes that was me! Just returned from HC, very, very wet and muddy and not looking forward to going through it all again tommorow. Did win a medal though - silver gilt - so very happy.
I thought so - your work is so much better than the usual conception of what standard CAD can do in terms of rendering and 3D views. I struggle with Vectorworks for construction detailing, use SketchUp a lot for draft plans and quick 3D's but still do all my development work freehand and usually the master plan for the clients in hand-drawn pen and ink with hand rendered markers and colour pencils(as opposed to B&W setting out plans for contractors). As my niche market tends to be country house gardens and historic garden restorations and re-creations, my clients tend to prefer the 'hands on' approach to drawing and would probably think that CAD was far too 'moderne'!! Best regards and keep up the brilliant work
Hi Ian - good to meet you in Guildford earlier this week - impressed by your website and also by the stuff you are doing on Vectorworks - I have just started and see I have a long way to go!! All the best Tim
