Hi Stevie, free advice is always available from me...you can always come and see me at Warwick market on Saturdays. The afternoons are quieter and there is a free car park behind the Police station. Brings some pics with you. Regards, Shelley.

A Bit About Me: I am a primary school teacher who now teaches part time, a secure income, especially in January and February! I am now in my third year after setting up my own business. I grow plants, I buy plants, I sell plants and I design gardens.
My Services: I sell plants at markets in Warwick, Leamington Spa and Oxford. I have designed 10 gardens to date and I am currently working on the Nursery to open to the public next year.
Additional: I can offer lots of free gardening advice which my customers welcome and I try to locate plants that customers have requested. I am currently working on my website, but there just does not seem to be enough hours in the day!

Glycyrrhiza yunnanensis is a Chinese variety of Liquorice. It's got lovely pinnate leaves, a bit like small Ash leaves, great lilac/pink flowers that turn into the craziest seedpods that look like a medieval morningstar. They're planted at the back of the Piet Oudolf borders at Wisley and look great all year round. Hope that helps.

Hi Shelley, thanks for the message. Yes, Linda is the person who set up Roots and Shoots 26 years ago and runs it still. She's Kew trained and an amazing person. If you'd be interested to know more, the website address is www.rootsandshoots.org.uk

Hi Shelley, Not a huge choice of trade nurseries round here but you could try Ben Reid who will get plants in for you. Springhill and Kirkdale have a few medium sized plants but call to check availability. I get bigger plants from Edinburgh sometimes. Good luck.
