Hi Carol, even though your garage has a small window, by keeping then in there, the pansies will grow leggy as there is not enough sunlight (especially as we have permanent rain these days!). They would be better outside, and as there is no chance of frost yet, put them putside, so they can toughen up a little bit before the weather turns colder. As its is warm and wet, they should grow on well until they are big enough to plant in the garden.

have just potted out some winter pansies into biogradable small pots. Currently in the garage, when is the best time to plant them out, and is the garage a good place to keep them - it has got a small window.
