You have made a good point Lynette! :-) Pests are a real pain in the garden. I can't stand flies, they always seem to bite me. A fellow rambler told me recently an apparent good way to ward off flies. He said, eat marmite! He says it ...

It looks as though you work in a fantastic place, I'll look you up if I am every up your way and see if I can think of a way to source some volunteers. All best Lindsay

Thankyou, I am to keep everything tidy :-) To get the effect of the grass you simply unroll it in the opposite direction. The Ampitheatre looked great when we finished, unfortunatley when it was handed over the on site staff were not very skilled in using a strimmer and therefore did a poor job of cutting it, however it is making a recovery :-)

Great you like Bressingham!! :-) I work in the Foggy Bottom area mainly, an incredible amount of interest, such a chocolate box of plants. Definately worth a visit for the professional or the amateur gardener! :-)

Thankyou for your comments. Most are just paper designs. Not as nice as working in a place like Bressingham.

Glad you liked the pics. Where you work looks pretty good also. Yes, it is a pendulour cedar. I think the tree you were looking at is in the 'sad bed', called so as everything is weeping!!! :-/ :-)

I enjoyed looking at the pics, I quite like these island beds and dont understand why they are so unfashionable nowerdays. They look better as they get older, is the droopy looking tree a pendulus Cedar?
