If you are looking for something different for a design you have done or for your own garden , feel free to ask me as I am like a squirrel with loads of information tucked away in my tree!
I am often driving up and down the country, camera round my neck and notebook in hand, dog hanging out of the window, looking for something a bit different and also many craftsmen and women who make unusual and traditional products which would compliment a design or garden or even the home.
I can point you in the right direction and also suggest nurseries you may not have tried.
I hope to start a Source section on The Garden Network and anyone who has something a bit different and would like to include themselves in the list, please drop me a line. I am also publishing a small booklet with places to visit and things to buy.

Chris- i have asked you a few questions on your pics page.
Thank you Claudia. They are the beds I have just been digging. I have actually dug quite deep and refined the soil. I thought I would put bark around. Just out of the photo to the right(you can just see the corner of it)I have another raised bed on legs. This is sited on flagging and also a hexagonal herb bed. I love cottagey stuff, masses of green and anything that looks natural. I'm not very fond of modern stuff. I am at present looking on recaim sites for fencing etc. Chris.

Let me know what kind of fencing you want and I can point you in the direction of places to get it and ones near you. When you say fencing and reclamation, I presume then you want something more sturdy than railings. I am a cottage gardener, so can help with plants like that , so feel free to tell me colours, sooil type you have and positions and I can advise. Remember always to plant in odd numbers, 3, 5,7 etc to get impact and don't just dot one of something unless it is a shrub rather than herbaceous. The idea with the cottage look of plants is to have structure in place with shrubs and then 'fill in' with the more natural plantings.

Great idea Claudia - as one who is always getting a row for not saving things to 'favourites' and saying "I'm sure it was here somewhere" I'm sure we'll all find a source section very useful
