Distance learning courses in garden design

About the Garden design correspondence course
Each study stage is a self-contained module that builds into the core course for which, if successful you are awarded a diploma. Each module is easily understood and very user friendly. In addition David is always contactable by phone or e-mail and is more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have as you move through the course.

The core course contains 6 modules covering site analysis, an introduction to garden design and design skills. It embraces simple surveying techniques and shows you how to prepare a site plan drawn to scale, which will be the basis of your finished design, which in turn is one of the most important modules. It differentiates between the structure of “hard landscape” - paving, walling and space division and the clothing of the garden with planting that forms the “soft landscape”.

Its very much a two-way affair, you and David - who takes sole responsibility for marking, commenting and helping you. As its module based you are free to take as much time as you wish, fitting it around your schedule. TGN members get 5% off the usual price of £498.00 - CLICK HERE.
