About Me
Name: Stuart Bulbeck
Birthday: 18 August 1969 (38 years old)
Gender: Male
Where I'm From
House Number or Name: 3 Orchard Lands
Street Address: Burstall
Town or City: Ipswich
County: Suffolk
Phone Number: 01473 652871
UK Region: East Anglia
What I Do
Member Type: Garden Landscaper
Professional Associations: RHS - Royal Horticultural Society.
A Bit About Me: I am a experienced garden designer with a love of the outdoors, I strongly belive in doing the job in the best way at the best price, too many cowboys and scum are ripping people off with rubbish work and give the gardeners a bad name..
My Services: Design, Build, Maintain. Full service offered covering all aspects of both commercial and domestic garden services. We offer a design service to cater for all budgets, from a simple postal design to a full fledged survey.
Additional: Small family run business, we take on only what we feel happy doing, high ethical standards in all areas and the the old fashioned uncanny ability to still listen to what you the client requires.. not what me the designer wants you to have!

Yup, planting in rain is c%£p was really cold after a full day, cold to the bone. Made a huge mess of the garden which didn't look much better with a hose down. Where is the sun?

Hi Stuart.
I am using SketchUp. It is a fantastic software that allows you to draw in 3D directly. It is not expensive (well not in comparison with the AutoCad), the clients love the fact that they can see the end product before committing the works and it has a large community sharing ready components. It is also not difficult to learn by yourself without getting into expensive courses.
Have fun with that it is worth.

Marzenna

Hi,
Regarding a good cylinder mower. I bought a 'Brill'(that's the name of the make) push hand mower online about two years ago and it was fantastic. As easy to push as an electric and you can mow the grass when it's wet. I decided to update to an electric mower a couple of months ago, but to be honest I'm going back to the hand mower, it does an altogether much superior cut to the lawn. Hope thats some use to you.

Hi Stuart, Names!!
I too belive that the job should be done properly and my pricing reflects this. If the patio/driveway needs 4" or more base, then that is what I price for and lay... unlike other companies who lay a minimal base as possible and thus ripping people off.
How ever, I do find that most people only look at the price and there for do not want to pay the proper price for a quality job.
How's business looking for the coming year?
Do you mind advising how you find work? I moved into my new area/home 3 1/2 years ago and have a colleague/partner who has worked for others before and so we need to advertise to get business... recommends are small. Am looking at joining the APL or BALI... are you a member?

Regards,

Stuart

Just had a lovely comment from a customer"I was talking to my missus this morning and she said how nice it was to have someone do a job properly rather than rush through in a day and ****** off".. now when you get a comment like that it makes you realise that you must be doing something right..
