Current and Ex Sparsholt students have been offered a short notice available tour at Highgrove on the 15th August 2008. I need to reply with names by Mon 28th July. The cost will be roughly £13.50 for the coach (if we can fill it), min donation to Prince Charles Charity of £8 and possibly £6 for Painswick Rocco Garden. The plan would be to leave from and return to Sparsholt College. If you are interested please call me on 01962 890252 or email me at mcleanv@attglobal.net. It will be on a first come first serve basis. We are 2/3 full already.

Thanks - Vic

We went last summer when we were in Tuscany for three weeks - amazing place set on a hill in Olive groves miles from anywhere! very Gaudi inspired and rather surreal as getting there was a very quiet journey seeing an odd car here and there and when we arrived the place was packed and quite difficult to photograph for people in the way! Hilary and I have been recreating a 'Grand Tour' of Italy - six weeks done so far over the past two years and we are back again this year for three weeks doing Milan the Lakes and Verona . Have done about 35 gardens so far!
best regards
