Myerscough College - an overview
We offer full and part-time courses in the following subjects: Agriculture and Countryside Studies; Animal Studies; Arboriculture (tree health care); Business Management; Creative Design and Landscape; Equine; Horticulture; Golf, Sport and Recreation; Mechanisation and Motorsports, and Sportsturf (sports ground management). Our shorter part-time courses include flower arranging, dry stone walling, an extensive range of IT courses and much more! Tailor-made work-based training packages are also available.


Myerscough campus facilities
The main campus itself is quite simply amazing. Set in 600 hectares of open, green surroundings, Myerscough College offers all the facilities you could need for a great time, a great social life, state-of-the-art sports facilities and comfortable, easy-going accommodation. Whats more, youre in easy reach of all the shopping and nightlife that nearby Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool have to offer.

If its fresh air you�re after, the surrounding countryside (plus the Lake District, just up the M6) offers unlimited mountain-biking and outdoor sports opportunities. We also have centres at Burnley Football Club, Witton Park at Blackburn, Wythenshawe Park at Manchester and Croxteth Park in Liverpool.

Horticulture Introductory Diploma
   This practical course is ideal as a first step into a career in horticulture.
Horticulture First Diploma
   This is a broad based course which covers areas including general horticulture.
Horticulture National Certificate
   This 12 module full-time course is designed for students seeking a practical introduction to horticulture.
Horticulture National Diploma
   18 module course designed for students who wish to develop a comprehensive overview of the horticulture industry.
Horticulture Foundation Degree (FsSc)
   The Foundation Degree in Horticulture is ideal for anyone new to horticulture.
Horticulture BSc (Hons) top-up
   The Honours Degree top-up programme has been designed as an ideal progression route for students.
Landscape First Diploma
   This course provides a comprehensive introduction to landscape and horticulture.
Landscape National Certificate
   This 12 module full-time course is designed for students seeking a practical introduction to landscaping.
Landscape National Diploma
   18 module course designed for students who wish to develop a comprehensive overview of the landscape industry.
Landscape Foundation Degree (FdA)
   The Foundation Degree in Landscape Management enables you to develop the skills needed for management.
Landscape BA (Hons) Degree
   The Honours Degree in Landscape Management to enhance your education and professional qualifications.
Garden Design Foundation Degree (FdA)
   Ideal for anyone interested in a career in the garden design sector.
Garden Design BA (Hons) top-up
   For those students who have completed a Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma in Garden Design.
