Pershore College lies within the Vale of Evesham, an important horticultural area, and consists of 60 ha. of grounds and gardens, conservation areas and a commercial nursery and plant centre, glasshouses and fruit and vegetable growing facilities. A juicing and cider-making unit produces fruit juice and cider from college grown fruits. The college apple juice has won various awards in competitions.
The extensive gardens and amenity features include an area of example gardens designed to show differing landscape and amenity styles as well as combinations of hard and soft landscaping. The gardens contain a substantial collection of plants of all types, which are used extensively for plant identification and to show the wide range of plants and planting combinations that can be used.
The College holds two National Collections; Penstemons and Philadelphus.
The Alpine Garden Society has its administrative centre and gardens within the College grounds and the College also provides the regional centre for the Royal Horticultural Society.
