BALI - British Association of Landscape Industries
The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) is the UK�s representative trade association for firms undertaking landscaping, both interior and exterior, a wide range of associated suppliers to the industry. With a Landscape contracting membership of over 700, BALI is continually raising standards throughout an industry that is all too often tarred with a cowboy reputation. GoLD - The Guild of Landscape Designers
In response to the rapidly expanding profession of garden and landscape design, GoLD is a body of professional garden and landscape designers committed to excellence and quality. Each member must attain the necessary degree in Garden Design or Landscape Architecture to achieve membership status. It is this minimum requirement of formal training which ensures registered members have been assessed and taught by other leading professionals. The Association of Professional Landscapers
A UK wide group of expert landscapers dedicated to enhancing gardens and open spaces. Members of the APL can design, construct and maintain gardens to the highest standard regardless of their size. ALCI - Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland
The Association of Landscape Contracts of Ireland was founded in 1971 in response to the need for a representative body for the developing landscape industry. PGG - Professional Gardeners Guild

RHS - Royal Horticultural Society

IOH - Institute of Horticulture

NSALG - Allotment Society
NSALG has existed in one form or another as far back as 1901, when the Agricultural Organisation Society's aims, established co-operation amongst agriculturists and the organisation of small holdings and allotments. NFU - National Farmers Union

LI - The Landscape Institute
The Landscape Institute is the Royal Chartered body for landscape architects, professionals who inspire people to expect the best from the natural and built environments. AA - Arboricultural Association
Founded in 1964, its the leading body in the UK for the amenity tree care professional in either civic or commercial employment at craft, technical, supervisory, managerial or consultancy level. ISA - International Society of Arboricultural
The International Society of Arboriculture is a worldwide professional organization dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for trees and to promoting research, technology, and the professional practice of arboriculture.


ICF - Institute of Chartered Foresters
The Institute of Chartered Foresters was founded in 1925 as the Society of Foresters of Great Britain. It became the Institute of Foresters in 1974 and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1982.
