Hi Shadow,
Without funding it was pretty difficult, zero business from it so far, probably to do with the current situation here in the UK. Its a shame there are'nt more high profile regional shows/events that might be cheaper to show at/attend, the rhs seem to have somewhat of a monoply on these things.

Also i think my garden was a bit too 'deep' (v-ironic considering the idea!) i probably should have done something less highbrow as it were. Ironically the 2009 Tatton flower show is going to have a new 'conceptual' garden design category, maybe i should have waited a year?

It's definately worth doing at least once, regardless of the outcome, just for the experience.
Hope you fair better than me if you do!

Many thanks for the views on Tresco - went there several years ago and thought it was a fantastic place. Over-riding memories were self seeded Agapanthus amongst the heather on the sand dunes outside the front entrance, giant Agaves and the almost Carribean appearance of the island as we left on the helicopter! Truly amazing day.
Best regards
Stephen
