Hi David, Why not try doing a short intro course at a good hortic. college instead. Much more fun and a lot more sociable than sitting in front of a computer. Probably cheaper in the long run too. The thing that makes a good design is the h...

Hi Nira, it was'nt anything special it's from topps tiles in Northwich. It was the cheapest slate i could find, it was from brazil i think. I wish i could have afforded slate from here in the uk but it was far too expensive.

Hi Andy
Thank you for the compliment. It was actually designed by myself and built by a local carpenter. The roof is of cedar shingles with hand made shoji doors and painted up accordingly. The whole thing sits on a platform of stained black decking.
The Tea House was designed by myself and then made by a local carpenter.

Hi Nira.
Was the tea house an off the shelf item, or was it made bespoke? I like it!

Nira - I would start by adding your website address here for starters
