"The Garden Network is an innovative network which gives feedback from fellow professionals and highlights and shows a high standard of the landscape industry. This is great to potential clients who are looking for potential landscapers, designers and other relevant professionals. I have received around 15 enquires and 2 commissions from clients since being a member! Hopefully the network will go from strength to strength and carry on doing a great job..."

"I've always steered clear of networking sites, just didn't have the inclination or the time to be bothered - how The Garden Network has changed my views, what a great site! I have already secured 3 commissions from people I've met on the site so do please keep up the good work, it's really valuable to me in my profession and it's been fun as well!
Everybody I've met has the same keen interest in horticulture and a high percentage of members are actually involved in horticulture as a career. I can meet, chat, swap messages and photos and engage in topical discussions with fellow garden designers whilst also making valuable business contacts with landscapers and potential garden owning clients."

"What a great network! I have already taken on 2 major contracts in the London area as a result of garden designers viewing my profile. It's wonderful to see all the skills and crafts that are alive and well in the garden industry..."

"I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of the site, not just in terms of design and usability but in the way they were approaching the whole question of horticultural networking. Many sites are far too narrowly based, but I find the mix of garden designers, contractors and horticulturists a real treat, the members are both serious about their work and humorous at the same time, I haven't found any horticultural snobs yet and that's a real plus!
As for business, well I got enquiries right from the beginning...I suppose, because I've been around for a while, I get lots of questions, which is great. If we can't support one another in this great industry of ours what's the point! All in all it's a cracking site and I'm positive it will go from strength to strength."

"As a Wholesale Nursery TGN gives us access to Garden Designers and Landscapers across the country, our core customers. For us this gives us an insight into trends, and how our customers actually work. Most wait for the Trade press every week to find out what is going on, TGN lets us know what is happening in Horticulture every day."

"It links people of different walks, positions and locations by a common theme, the love of gardens and the open space. Moreover, not just a bunch of nobodies but top-notch Garden Designers, Landscapers and Suppliers...the potential is huge and must surely be one of the most rewarding and satisfying sites available.
...offering a wealth of knowledge, tips, and ideas besides meeting a whole new range of friends willing to help, or wanting advice or a guiding hand. I have learnt and gleaned a great deal since this site has opened even though I have been landscaping and creating gardens since 1966 - so many ways of looking outside and even inside of the box.
Homeowners - just a small selection of their feedback (Homeowners will obviously join and then leave when they've sorted out their gardens)
Ann, Brighton - "...I don't trust the Yellow Pages! At last a site where I found a reliable, great landscaper. Will use you again for advice and information, too"
Heather, Scotland - "Thank you so much for your help - have only been on this for about 6 minutes and have already had 2 contacts. Brilliant!"
Stevie, West Midlands - "I haven't been on the site long, and am finding my way round, but so far people have been welcoming and have left me messages, which is really great."
Hilary, Kent - "I've just joined up so not quite sure about all this but it looks a fab way of communicating!"
Vanessa, London - "I am impressed with the idea behind this website.... infact I've seen some really pretty albums too. I joined this network to source a contractor who can assist me with my garden make-over project."

"I've found the site a lot of fun and I often flick through to see what people have done - as a direct result of the Garden Network we've taken orders!
I have helped out quite a few people with tips and advice on hard landscaping materials but from a commercial point of view I have formed new relationships with landscapers and DIY'ers that we probably would not have come into contact with. I used to be part of a Landscape company and I had a great time building some fantastic gardens. We did 3 Chelsea flower shows winning gold, silver gilt and silver. We were also finalists in Channel 4's The Great Garden Challenge - so it's great to be able to stay in touch using this site..."

I wish this site had been around years ago - it is a fantastic resource & shows what a friendly & generous community of people are involved in the gardening world - it's quite inspiring!"
