3D designs

  Dear All

I have just joined today to get lots of HELP!!!.  We live in a house which has a wide garden which also runs up the side of the house. I've posted some pictures so take a look.  Last year we got some quotes only to see what could be done with the space we have and I passed out as the most was over £8k and the lowest was around £6k.

What I would like to know is where can we get 3D designs created to see the effect of what the garden will look like.  I'm going to be rounding up family to see if we can do this more cost effectively as most of the cost was labour!!!!

We would like to create another room to our house, but low maint as my husband hates gardening (but he wanted the garden LOL).

The garden has uneven parts to its so I was thinking about adding decking any other ideas would be great.

Hi, Angela,
I offer a postal design service. It would involve filling in a questionnaire, chats on the phone and email to get to know you ( a design is a very personal thing!) I would give you detailed instructions for how to measure the garden etc. Low maintenance gardens form the majority of my business. I also provide an aftercare maintenance schedule based on the client's knowledge/ ability ( down to pictures of individual plants for those who are not plant aware!) Have a look at my website and Please email me if i can be of help Good luck

if you look at the modern family garden in our photos that installation was undertaken for less than £6k. If your family are willing to do some "donkey work" then the majority of the labour costs for any paved areas can be saved. We cover up to South East London so if you are in our area we would be able to come to see you to discuss your requirements further if you did want some professional assistance. We do provide a 3D design service as well as 2D design drawings. Good luck with your project eitherway. Regards, Chris Dale, Warner Grounds

Hello,
Our services offers a 3D simulation using Realtime Landscaping pro (or traditional sketches). Feel free to consult our online design consultation which models and redefines a space (balcony, terrace garden, office…) from di***al photos. This solution offers the possibility to see clearly what the proposed installation will look like by the assisted design process which is quick and easy: you receive simple how-to instructions and information to transfer existing plans and images to us by internet (upload facility). We can deliver a design layout for you to carry out DIY. The first step is to fill out the questionnaire online and then we'll take it from there! Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Angela
Read your blog and looked at the pic. Having your garden designed, built and planted will cost you as much as a conservatory or small extention, which is what you want 'another room to your house'. It is like having an interior designer. Not sure about 3D designs as all our plans are hand drawn, but you will pay premium £ for the time involved in producing such a plan. (Have looked into having this for a house extension!)
Labour costs are not that high, but there are skips, clearance, marking out, ordering materials, which we pay up front, the profit it tight. Looking at what you want and the size of the garden, 6 - 8k sounds really reasonable! GO AHEAD.
