We are looking to source a vertical garden/plant wall kit.  They seem to be readily available in the States and according to other sites they are available in the uk (the Beeb for one) however we are having difficulty finding them.

If anyone knows where we can source these we would be very grateful.

Hi all, .

I am currently starting out as a Landscape gardener & i am a bit overwhelmed!. Not really sure where to source materials such as top-soil, grit, gravel even plants etc.

Although i can find all of these if i try hard enough, there seems to be very little in my area and some of the companies i find on the internet seem to be very expensive.

anyone have any help or advice for someone starting out?

thanks in advance

jamie

I've been commissioned to do two basement couryards in Mayfair, London, and as I'm based in Cheshire i'm not familiar with suppliers in the SE areas. I after a good quality supplier/ manufacturer of galvanised steel containers/planters and also a recommended wholesale tree and shrub nursery, the best quality plants at decent prices. I could use my local suppliers here but i'm trying to keep the road miles down for transport. I would really appreciate any recommendations.

We are looking for suppliers of outdoor sails.  The size we need is a triangle which would be 4m x 4m on the short sides.

We are thinking a cream colour.  The sail is to avoid some protection from the prevalence of pigeons in the customers garden so ideally a sail which you can't see the droppings through!

Anyone who can supply in the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire area please get in touch.

We are looking for someone who is able to design a hydroponic watering system for a client of ours in Marlow, Bucks.

The garden is a rear courtyard, 14m by 11m and there will be several distinct areas which will need to be incorporated into the system.

Please get in touch if you think you have the right solution for us.

Many thanks

Hi Everyone, hope you can help ....

I am about to start building a new deck and raised beds, from new untreated oak boards (half sleepers).

I have been trying to find a website that shows the 'ageing'  of untreated oak, ie how it will look in 6 months, a year, 5 years etc ..... and colours / comparisons with different oils, but i am not having any joy. Does anyone know of such a site, or a supplier that could help.

Reason for the question, i am not 100% convinced that the 'pale silver' aged look is the desired result. After something a bit 'richer'.

Thanks in advance alt

Hi, we are a landscaping company based in Cornwall, originally we worked in Surrey / South London  where we had all the suppliers we needed.
Since relocating we are still looking to find a decent wholesale nursery in Cornwall or West Devon that provides container grown shrubs & herbaceous in a range of sizes - at sensible trade prices.
Also seeking suppliers of field grown ornamental trees.

If any wholesale nurseries or fellow landscapers could pass us details I'd be grateful
