Hi Stephen, I was manning the SGD stand all day Thursday - have you seen it? Haven't had the final total yet, but did well getting in lots of new members - had interest from Dubai, Turkey, Holland, Germany and the Ukraine - a UK accent was rare....
Hi Stephen. As you can see in my blogs I'm extremely keen on using any renewable energy where possible, though I certainly don't see it as the Saviour of fossil fuels just yet. The SolarDec concept is designed to make use of an area designed for other things, with rainwater collection on the edges it should collect a valuable resource. I also have a consultancy called 'Solterranean' which looks at the viability of solar collection in any large thermal mass be it tarmac'd driveway or paving around a swimming pool. Put in at build stage it would represent a very small additional investment - your learned thoughts would be mush appreciated.
Hi Stephen
I am always interested in some CPD - I do some with the SGD and a bit with Andrew Wilson. What are you proposing? I'm very keen to get full SGD membership and would appreciate any help getting my portfolio ready.
Regards
Linsey
